The Original Gents

In the summer of 1998, Blaize Mason, with the help of his father Hugh, decided to create a small business washing windows. Customers quickly saw the care and quality put into every aspect of this young window cleaning company. Word of mouth spread, and what began as a summer job blossomed into what is now one of Northern Michigan’s most recognized cleaning companies.

Family

Blaize is happily married to his wife Candace (who just so happened to be the daughter of a window cleaner in Utah!). They have two beautiful children, Emma and Fitz. When he’s not cleaning windows, Blaize loves spending his downtime enjoying Northern Michigan with family and friends.
In addition, Blaize, Candace and the kids also enjoy devoting as much time as they can to volunteering as part of a worldwide Bible education work.

Looking ahead, Two Glass Gents will continue to provide Northern Michigan with a trustworthy service residents can count on.

What we do

Fun Facts

What started as a small window cleaning crew of 2 is now a company of more than 15, made up entirely of family and friends. Many of the original crew still work for Two Glass Gents today!
In 2016, Two Glass Gents acquired the cleaning clients of Brady’s Carpet Cleaning. This dramatically expanded their clientele in Charlevoix County and its surrounding areas, allowing them to reach even more of Northern Michigan.
In 2019, after settling in Florida, Hugh Mason withdrew from the company. His support throughout the years will never be forgotten, and he continues to be a vital part of the Mason family.

You may notice these icons on our trucks, team shirts, etc. Many people ask what they mean.

They represent some of the things our team and our customers love about Northern Michigan. We appreciate that this is a special place to live and work so we include these in the Two Glass Gents identity.
